The only time I miss Snow.

I suppose one of the most interesting things about this time of year is the lack of snow in the bay area. Back in Montana friends and family are digging their way out of driveways and snow banks. Of course, there is rain here. I don't mind the rain so much. I do miss the snow during this one week - Christmas Eve to New Years. It just seems like December is a month that deserves snow. I'm done with it by March and April however.

I took this picture up by the Golden Gate Bridge a couple of months ago. No snow here.

Day 1

I should start by saying I am not a blogger. I don't care to write, but I do enjoy taking pictures. I'll post a few pictures from time to time and share a few thoughts about moving to a new state and starting over in your mid 30s.

Things are different in Cali than they are in MT. For example - today it is once again below zero in most of MT. However, here - cold is 45*. So in the spirit of 2009, not only am I going to start a blog (with some of my photos), but I'm going to run a marathon this year too. Just so say I did it. Afterall, if there isn't snow, you can run almost every day. I'll let you know how it goes.
